After years of planning to make an album of music (and despite having tabbed all the songs years ago) for whatever reason I had little to show for it other than some private demos. With time off from work I set myself the challenge the first week of this year: to record nine songs in nine days. I had two stipulations, 1: These couldn’t be any songs that I had previously worked on so I would force myself to start from scratch each day – coming up with a song, recording and mixing it. 2: Each song had to be short and simple, this would give me a better chance of accomplishing the project and allowed for my many shortcomings! As it was, I came up with nine songs in seven days, three more songs followed, recorded after my seasonal holiday and were produced over a couple days each.

It is most definitely a lo-fi, DIY project - recorded in my kitchen but I’ve done my best to polish it up to listenable quality. Think of these as modern day nursery rhymes.
